Removing Heavy Metals - Naturally

Real Food is Medicine?
Your body is constantly dealing with heavy metals from food, water, air, and everyday life.
The good news? You can support your body’s natural detox pathways with real food and simple additions — no harsh protocols needed.
This is what I grow and use daily for health and gentle detoxing. It’s not an all-inclusive list, but it’s a strong place to start.

Daily Foods I Prioritize

  • Cilantro, Turmeric, Ginger, Garlic
These are powerful and easy to grow year-round (indoors or out). Add them generously to meals.

  • Wild Blueberries
One of the best antioxidants for heavy metal support. Buy frozen organic or grow your own — seeds from flash frozen berries are often viable. (how we started many of ours)

  • Lemon Water
Every morning: juice of 2 fresh lemons in warm RO or distilled water. Use local lemons when possible.

  • Spirulina & Chlorella
Sun Chlorella is our favorite brand for clean sourcing.

  • Green Tea
Choose high-quality or grow your own when possible.

  • Tomatoes
Grow fresh in warm months; grow inside or source organic in winter.

  • Probiotics
Research what fits your body and lifestyle. Many people are lacking bifidobacteria — start there. Check the ‘brands we use’ page for links.

Additional Supports (by weight & activity level)

  • Shilajit

  • Diatomaceous Earth

  • Activated Charcoal

  • Borax

  • Baking Soda (Bob’s Red Mill is real)

For quicker detox when feeling an overload:
Zeolite — a well-documented binder. here's a peer reviewed study to start

Quick Tip:
Focus on single-ingredient, clean foods first. The cleaner your daily diet, the better these supports can work. Real food truly is medicine. Start with what you can grow or source locally, and build from there.
